The Business Services Division provides services to the school sites, employees, employee groups, board members and various agencies in the areas of budgeting, accounting, payroll, employee insurance, purchasing/contracts and child nutrition.

New Provider: Blue Shield of California

Effective July 1, 2017 Blue Shield of California will be taking Anthems place in our plan offering.  If any participants have questions or concerns on how the transition may impact them and their individual medical needs please contact the Blue Shield Concierge by calling (855) 724-7698 from 7am - 7pm Monday through Friday.  Along with a new provider, Blue Shield is also offering an additional plan option on the HMO side called TRIO.   TRIO is an Accountable Care Organization plan that operates within certain medical groups you may already be a part of.  This plan design offers the similar plan design as the HMO plan with a smaller network and lower premiums.

Payroll Forms

Certificated Personnel will be paid on the first business day of the subsequent month

Classified Personnel will be paid on the last business day of the month

All time cards are due on the 17th of the month and should include all additional hours from the 16th of the previous month to the 15th of the current month.  All time cards will be paid along with the regular pay schedule outlined above.

Schools First is the Third Party Administrator for all of our 403b and 457 plan contributions.  You must contact Schools First CU to set up deductions for either of these retirement instruments. Please call (800) 462-8328 ext. 4727 for Retirement Services
