Labor Relations
Mountain View School District fosters collaborative relationships with our labor unions. We maintain a unified vision for our District and collectively work to support all employees by utilized interest-based bargaining in negotiations.
Our union presidents meet regularly with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent. We maintain an open door policy so that transparency is ensured and employees feel valued.
The Associated Mountain View Teachers (AMVT) represents certificated employees. Classified employees are represented by the California School Employees Association (CSEA) Chapter 876.
