Illness Exclusion Guidelines
Many parents ask, “Is my child well enough to go to school?” and staff may also need to determine whether a student is well enough to remain at school. To ensure consistent and safe decision-making, the Mountain View School District follows the guidelines set by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) when determining which illnesses or conditions require temporary exclusion from school.
